2. Your EU privacy rights

If the GDPR applies to your data, you can request access and a copy, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, subject to the conditions and exceptions in that law.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including for reasons related to your situation, and object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract, you can request the data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and its transfer to another provider where technically feasible.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Website cookie choices can be changed through Cookie preferences. Device permissions and app privacy choices have separate controls.

For account deletion, see Delete your account. For what PupMarks collects, sharing choices and retention, see the Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Service also apply to use of the app.

3. Response times

For requests covered by the GDPR, the usual legal deadline is without undue delay and within one month of receiving the request. The deadline can be extended by up to two further months when necessary because of the complexity or number of requests. Any extension must be explained within the first month.

Requests are generally free of charge. The GDPR allows a reasonable fee or refusal for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests. If a request is refused, the reasons and available complaint or court remedies must be explained.

4. Contact a data protection authority

You can complain to a supervisory authority, especially in the EU country where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred. You do not have to contact PupMarks first.

Find your data protection authority.
